Lucile Lowdown: MET Gala

This Bank Holiday Monday was the elite and luxurious event of the 2014 MET Gala and all the A-listers were there in their couture gowns – and even some Bespoke High Street!

We here at Lucile have picked our best dressed and have paired them with some of our collections to somewhat recreate the looks for you at home.

Firstly we have Anne Hathaway in a stunning red two piece by Francisco Costa, pairing this elegant gown with The Queen of Spain collection giving a similar elegance from the Silk Balcony Bra and Silk Knicker.

The Queen of Spain Collection is a sumptuous fusion of gorgeous silks and lace in opulent shades of scarlet, black and gold. Echoing seduction and luxury, the impeccable attention to detail completes this range, with exclusive Lucile designed prints. This Spanish inspired collection is created to make anyone who wears it feel like royalty.

Next is Elizabeth Olsen sticking to the lightness of Spring Pastels in Miu Miu. We’ve paired this dress with our Rossetti Gardens Collection and the Signature Lace Balcony Bra, Lace Detail Knicker and Suspender Belt.

As always, the finest attention to detail is paid throughout this collection, from the beautiful tie back of the baby doll to the precise fit of the Lucile signature balcony bra. Stunning, yet subtle in Duck Egg blue, the lace has been hand dyed exclusively for this gorgeous collection.

And of course no list would be complete without Beyonce! Styled, the sultry gothic look wearing all black yet with a shine and sparkle in Givenchy. Pairing Beyoncé’s sheer black look with the Stunning pure silk Georgette Gown with lace trim, completed with the long gold silk sash from The Duchess of Warwick Collection.

This stunning lingerie collection is classic and timeless, the perfect pieces to finish a fabulous lingerie wardrobe from opulent night wear to seductive suspender belts. All the pieces are handmade in England in Derbyshire.

Next Rachel McAdams and her almost nude look, by Ralph Lauren is a unique twist on the Pastel trend this Spring. Our Shortness of Time collection reflects the seamless, pastel yet nude look with the Boudoir Bra and Luxury lace Back Knicker.

This collection is truly feminine in Tea Rose Pink silk, a colour created exclusively for Lucile. Adorned with beautiful lace and bow embellishments, it is the stunning attention to detail that makes this collection utterly luxurious. A perfect fit to enhance a stunning silhouette.

And finally is Amber Heard in Giambattista Valli’s complete embroidered silk gown! Our 11 Rue De Penthievre silk and gold lace collection pairs stunningly with Heard’s Haute Couture gown. Pairing the Signature Lace balcony Bra, Silk and Lace Knicker and Suspender Belt reflects the same sense of intricacy and detail of the Met Gala gown.
